About Me

Hello fellow teachers!  Thank you so much for visiting my blog!  My name is Rachel Matthews and I teach in the great state of Tennessee.  I live about thirty minutes from Nashville.  I graduated with my bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 2015, and then went on to get my master's in literacy in 2016.  This will be my first year teaching and I am in KINDERGARTEN!  I am so excited / nervous to see what this year will hold!  Not only am I a first year teacher, but I am also expecting my first baby girl in August!  I am very excited to see what the rest of 2016 will bring me.  Join me on this crazy journey!
